Start from your fridge
Snap a fridge photo, review a proposed list, confirm what you actually have, and get planning reminders based on reference use-by windows. No account is required to get started.
Add items by hand, or start from a fridge photo. See estimated use-by windows and keep a clear inventory of the groceries already at home.
Free during beta. Estimates are planning guidance, not food-safety, expiration, or quality determinations. Always inspect food and follow labels and official guidance.
A fridge photo is forwarded to a third-party vision provider so it can propose item names for you to confirm; under that provider’s current terms the input is not used to train its models but may be retained up to 30 days for abuse monitoring. Xpired does not evaluate freshness, ripeness, or food safety, as described in the Privacy Policy.
No live deal feed is connected · Nearby Deals returns nothing today
About “Nearby Deals”: no verified live deal feed is connected, so the screen returns an empty result. It does not show price estimates, store pricing, inventory, listings, discounts, or participating retailers.
A SIMPLE HOUSEHOLD ROUTINE
The current beta is designed around the groceries you enter. It does not depend on a feature that may or may not ship later.
Snap a fridge photo, review a proposed list, confirm what you actually have, and get planning reminders based on reference use-by windows. No account is required to get started.
Xpired organizes items with estimated planning windows so it is easier to see what deserves attention.
Sort the inventory, set reminders, and plan meals around the groceries already on hand.
BUILT FOR CLARITY
Xpired keeps the current shopper experience focused: fridge capture, local inventory, estimated dates, reminders, and grocery planning. Scanner research is not part of the current beta experience.
What Xpired is, and what it is not
A grocery planning tool
It helps organize household inventory and estimated use-by timing.
A beta you can evaluate directly
The current iOS beta is available through Apple TestFlight.
Not a food-safety verdict
Estimates cannot determine whether food is safe, spoiled, or exactly when it expires.
No invented savings promise
We do not claim a weekly dollar amount or measured waste-reduction result.
One company, two distinct products
The shopper beta is available now. The grocery-store product is coming soon, with retailer operations and California date-label resources kept in a separate business path.
“Coming soon” is directional; no retailer release date is announced.
Pittsburgh-built · iOS beta
Try the current inventory workflow, then tell us where it genuinely helps and where it still gets in the way.
